Can I Do 7 Mindvalley Quests At One Time?

Last Updated on January 24, 2021 by Kari

Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m not challenging myself enough. I need a challenge that makes me feel like I’m accomplishing a lot in my life. I need a challenge that helps me learn a lot and fill up my days. I need a growth challenge for my entire life. And, the other day, I realized that I only have 7 quests on Mindvalley that I haven’t completed yet. It got me wondering if I could challenge myself to do them all at one time.

Can I Do 7 Mindvalley Courses At Once

Apparently 7 Courses Isn’t A Ridiculous Number

Seven courses at once time sounds like a lot, right? At least it does to me.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in college, but looking it up, I see that full course load is normally five courses per semester. At least according to this article.

And, when I asked my friend how many classes her kids have in their high school per semester, she said, “They have 4 core and gym and 1 option.”

And, after some more researching, I found this article that says kids can take four to six classes depending on how many credits each class is.

So, six seems to be the most students are forced to do at school. But I’m not forced to do anything. These are all interesting quests that I want to take, not because they will help me graduate, but because they will add awareness to my life in some way.

Mindvalley’s Daily Classes Are Shorter Than The Average Class In School

Since the daily classes in Mindvalley quests are shorter than the average class in school, I figure I should be able to do those 7 quests all at one time.

It should take me around 2.5 hours per day to listen to the quests and possibly an extra hour or two to do any ‘homework’.

For me, that’s doable. I can easily spend 4-6 hours per day watching YouTube or TV or doing something else that makes me feel like I’ve wasted time instead of used my time.

Therefore, I’m going to give it a try, starting today, and see if it’s possible to do seven quests at one time and gain value from each of them.

One Issue I Already Know About When Taking Multiple Personal Development Classes At Once

I have previously done three quests at one time and found it to be worth it. They complemented each other, but there was one problem.

I couldn’t tell if some areas of growth were because of one course or another. For instance, I noticed that I had increased focus on a particular day during The M Word, but I couldn’t tell if it was from that quest or one of the other two quests I was taking.

I’ll keep track of the little aha moments I’m having, and any growth spurts I experience. If I can’t figure out exactly where something stemmed from, that’s OK. Growth in life is growth, and I’ll welcome it no matter where it came from.

The Courses Are Focused On Different Things

The courses I have left are all quite different as you can see in the screenshot below. Chakras, Feng Shui, Conscious Uncoupling, Yoga, and Uncompromised Life are all on different topics. Hero, Genius, Legend, and The New Psychology of Winning are both focused on up-leveling the way you think and perform in life, so they are kind of similar, but I think they will be different enough to stand apart.

Can I Do 7 Mindvalley Quests At One Time?

I think I can.

Lately, I’ve been doing 2 courses at one time, but I know that I have the extra time in my day to do more courses.

A lot of people say that they want to focus on one quest at a time because they want to fully immerse themselves in that subject.

I’m interested to see if I find I lose value in a subject because I’m immersed in many other subjects at one time. If I had to guess, I would say probably not. I can learn about many different things in one day and retain that information. I did it all throughout my school years. I did it in College. I’ve done it throughout my adult life. And, I think I can do it with Mindvalley’s quests.

We will see.

The beauty of Mindvalley’s quests, as opposed to school, is that I can do everything on my own time. So, if I feel like taking some extra classes on the weekend, I can. I can speed things up or slow them down or do whatever I want. But, for the sake of this challenge, I will always do at least one class per day per quest.

I’m thinking weekends will be reserved for the Q&As from each course. As I think about it, that’s about an hour a quest, which adds about 7 hours a week of learning! Ok, so I’m going to need a little more time than I thought. Still doable. I can make it work.

I’ve already taken my first class in the Chakra quest. Interestingly, a challenge on the first day is to take action on one thing you are afraid of. Committing to the challenge of taking 7 Mindvalley quests at one time by writing an article about it was one thing I was afraid of. So, the courses are already helping me in life. I wrote it. I’m openly committed. Let’s go!
